Thanksgiving Point’s Luminaria
Are you looking for something new to do this Christmas season? Look no further….
New this year to Thanksgiving Point, in Lehi Utah, is Luminaria– an enchanting walk through Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving point that will take you to a magical Christmas wonderland.
Your first glimpse of the gardens is breathtaking as you look out over 8000 programmable luminaries blanketing the hillside. Set to music, you watch reindeer flying, poinsettias bloom and other animation sweep across the gardens.
Stop in at the Garden House and fill up your mug with endless hot cocoa while filling your senses with the smell of poinsettia’s and pine.
Then make your way through Candy Cane Lane
Past the Blooming Lights,
and other displays as you go deeper into the gardens. Stop to pet the reindeer and refill your cocoa while getting warmed by one of the many heaters positioned throughout the gardens.
Play cornhole and other games or roast s’mores by one of the fire pits.
Step through the dizzying twinkle lights and into a winter wonderland.
One of my favorite sections of the gardens is walking through the Light of The World Garden where lanterns softly glow and peaceful music plays as you pass by 35 monument- sized statues depicting scenes from the life of Jesus Christ.
Stay overnight at the Hilton Home2 Suites, which was part of the Weekender Package we purchased. This hotel is a 5 minute drive to Thanksgiving Point and is surrounded by multiple restaurants and across the freeway from Traverse Mountain Outlets if you want to do some shopping.
We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend purchasing this package for the value you receive; 1 overnight stay, 2 VIP Premiere adult tickets, VIP parking, bottomless hot cocoa and 2 swag bags with promotional mugs and hand warmers.

Onto our next adventure; the SLC Christkindlmarkt!
Until Next Time….Travel On!
